True courage is shown in times of danger. The poem teaches us the importance of bravery, duty and sacrifice (ത്യാഗം).]

[Benjamin Peck Keith എഴുതിയ The Wreck of the Titanic ടൈറ്റാനിക് കപ്പലിന്റെ ദുരന്തവും അതിലെ ജീവനക്കാരുടെ ധൈര്യവും ത്യാഗവും വിവരിക്കുന്ന കവിതയാണ്.

“Women and children first” എന്നതായിരുന്നു ജീവനക്കാരുടെ നിലപാട്.

അവർ “Nearer, My God, to Thee” എന്ന ഗാനം വായിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
